Description

The Eve is a 2-light wall light built around an anthracite-finished metal frame that branches into two curved arms, each supporting a cylindrical black fabric shade. The frame mounts flush to the wall via a circular backplate, with the two arms extending outward and upward to hold the shades at slightly different heights. Each shade houses a standard E27 bulb (sold separately), with the fabric acting as a diffuser for ambient light.

Designed for bedrooms, living rooms and hallways where paired wall lighting is needed, the Eve provides balanced illumination across a 390mm width without dominating the wall. The 140mm projection means the shades sit clear of the wall surface, allowing light to spread both forward and to the sides. The fixture works well either side of a bed as reading lights, flanking a mirror, or along a corridor where multiple units can be spaced to provide consistent ambient light.

The black fabric shades show a subtle linear texture that's visible under daylight and when the bulbs are off, giving the material depth rather than appearing flat. The anthracite finish on the metal frame is a dark grey-black that reads almost black in low light but distinguishes itself from the shades in brighter conditions. The Eve is supplied with standard wall fixings suitable for solid walls. For plasterboard or hollow walls, use appropriate cavity fixings rated to support the 1kg weight of the fitting plus the bulbs.

Can the shades be removed for cleaning?

The fabric shades are fixed to the frame and are not designed to be removed frequently. Dust can be removed with a soft brush or lint roller. For deeper cleaning, a barely-damp microfibre cloth can be used, but avoid soaking the fabric.
