The Eve is a two-light table lamp built around a cantilever frame in polished chrome, supporting a 450mm-wide oval fabric shade in black with a frosted inner lining. The chrome arm extends from a circular weighted base and curves upward to suspend the shade at an angle, creating a visual imbalance that's structurally resolved by the counterweight at the base. Two E27 bulbs inside the shade (sold separately) cast light downward through the black fabric and frosted lining, softening the beam while maintaining directionality.

Designed for desks, sideboards and bedside tables where focused ambient light is needed, the Eve's 360mm height and angled shade put the light source roughly level with a seated eye line without creating glare. The 260mm depth from base to shade front means it can sit comfortably on a desk behind a laptop or on a narrow console without the shade overhanging the edge. The polished chrome frame reflects ambient light in the room, contrasting with the matte black fabric shade.

The shade is formed from a wrinkled fabric with vertical texture lines, giving a softer visual than a smooth drum shade. The frosted lining inside prevents hotspots from the two bulbs showing through the outer fabric. At 4kg, the lamp's weight is concentrated in the circular base, stabilising the cantilevered arm.
