The Eve is a 2-light semi-flush ceiling light built around a curved anthracite metal frame supporting a single oval ivory fabric shade. The frame extends from a circular ceiling plate in a smooth, asymmetric sweep that holds the shade offset from the ceiling rose, giving the fitting a sculptural profile when viewed from different angles. Two E27 bulb fittings sit inside the shade, each accepting bulbs up to 20W (sold separately).

Designed for bedrooms, hallways and living rooms with standard 2.4m ceiling heights, the Eve provides ambient diffused light through the textured ivory fabric while the anthracite frame adds visual weight without blocking significant ceiling height. The 435mm drop from ceiling to shade bottom suits rooms where a traditional pendant would hang too low but a flush ceiling fitting would lack presence. The shade measures 450mm across at its widest point and 260mm front-to-back, covering approximately the same ceiling area as a 400mm-diameter circular fitting.

Yes, provided you fit dimmable E27 bulbs and pair them with a compatible dimmer switch. The fixture itself has no electronic components that would prevent dimming. Most LED E27 bulbs rated as dimmable will work with standard trailing-edge or leading-edge dimmers.

What bulbs does it take?

The Eve takes two E27 (Edison screw) bulbs up to 20W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users fit warm-white LED bulbs between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K for ambient bedroom or living room lighting.

What ceiling height does it need?

The 435mm drop from ceiling to shade bottom suits standard 2.4m ceilings. In rooms with lower ceilings the shade may sit closer to head height when walking underneath, while higher ceilings give the fixture more breathing room above furniture.

Can the shade be cleaned?

The ivory fabric shade can be dusted with a soft brush or vacuumed gently on a low setting using an upholstery attachment. For deeper cleaning, spot-clean with a barely-damp cloth and allow to air-dry fully before switching the light back on.
