Eve 2 Light Floor Lamp - Polished Chrome with White Oval Shade

The Eve is a 165cm floor lamp with a curved polished chrome arm supporting a 670mm oval shade in white textured fabric. Two E27 bulb fittings inside the shade (bulbs sold separately) provide diffused ambient light through the fabric, which has a subtle wrinkled texture and inner lining that softens the light output.

Designed for living rooms, bedrooms and reading corners, the Eve works as both ambient lighting and task light depending on bulb choice. The curved arm positions the shade approximately 140cm above floor level, high enough to cast light over a sofa back or reading chair without glare at eye level when seated. The oval shade measures 670mm wide and 300mm deep, giving enough spread for general room lighting without overwhelming smaller spaces. The polished chrome base and stem provide a stable 7.9kg footprint on carpet or hard floors.

The white fabric shade has a textured surface that hides the bulb fittings when unlit and creates soft directional diffusion when lit. Light spills upward and downward through the top and bottom openings of the oval as well as through the fabric itself. The polished chrome finish reflects surrounding light and pairs well with cool-toned interiors, glass furniture and contemporary or transitional decor. The lamp accepts any standard E27 LED, halogen or filament bulbs up to the wattage specified in the table below, and is dimmable when paired with suitable dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch.

What bulbs does the Eve take?

The lamp has two E27 (Edison screw) fittings. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED bulbs between 6-10W each and 2700K-3000K for ambient room lighting, or brighter 12-15W bulbs for reading.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, when fitted with dimmable E27 bulbs and connected to a compatible dimmer switch. The lamp itself does not have a built-in dimmer. Dimming is controlled at the wall switch or plug-in dimmer module.

How tall is the shade when the lamp is standing?

The total height is 165cm from floor to top of shade. The curved chrome arm positions the centre of the oval shade at approximately 140cm above floor level, clearing most sofa backs and allowing light to spread over seated areas without direct glare.

Can the shade fabric be cleaned?

The textured white fabric can be dusted with a soft brush or gently vacuumed on a low setting using an upholstery nozzle. For marks, a barely-damp cloth with plain water may be used, but avoid soaking the fabric or using household cleaners which may discolour the material.
