Description

The Eve is a 165cm floor lamp with a curved polished chrome arm supporting a 670mm oval shade in white textured fabric. Two E27 bulb fittings inside the shade (bulbs sold separately) provide diffused ambient light through the fabric, which has a subtle wrinkled texture and inner lining that softens the light output.

Designed for living rooms, bedrooms and reading corners, the Eve works as both ambient lighting and task light depending on bulb choice. The curved arm positions the shade approximately 140cm above floor level, high enough to cast light over a sofa back or reading chair without glare at eye level when seated. The oval shade measures 670mm wide and 300mm deep, giving enough spread for general room lighting without overwhelming smaller spaces. The polished chrome base and stem provide a stable 7.9kg footprint on carpet or hard floors.

The white fabric shade has a textured surface that hides the bulb fittings when unlit and creates soft directional diffusion when lit — light spills upward and downward through the top and bottom openings of the oval as well as through the fabric itself. The polished chrome finish reflects surrounding light and pairs well with cool-toned interiors, glass furniture and contemporary or transitional decor. The lamp accepts any standard E27 LED, halogen or filament bulbs up to the wattage specified in the table below, and is dimmable when paired with suitable dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch.
