Description

The Estudo is a 45.5cm LED table lamp built around a matt black metal frame with a rotating cylindrical head and an integrated 9W 3000K LED. A vertical stem rises from a circular base that houses a secondary warm LED backlight, which casts a soft glow onto the surface beneath. The main head rotates through approximately 180 degrees, allowing the beam to be directed towards a desk surface, a bedside book, or up onto a wall.

Designed for desk work, bedside reading and side table accent lighting, the Estudo pairs focused task light from the rotating head with ambient backlight from the base. The rotating head delivers CRI 81 light rendering, which preserves colour accuracy in documents and screen work better than lower-CRI sources. The base backlight operates independently, so the lamp can be used as a low-level night light without the main beam active.

The matt black metal finish has a low-sheen powder coat that resists fingerprints and integrates cleanly with black desk setups, dark-toned bedside tables and monochrome interiors. The 15cm circular base footprint fits onto narrow bedside tables and shallow desk depths without overhanging. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor environments only.

Frequently Asked

Is the Estudo dimmable?

The integrated 9W LED is not dimmable. The lamp operates at fixed 3000K warm white output when switched on. The base backlight operates independently from the main head.

Can the head be angled for reading in bed?

Yes. The cylindrical head rotates through approximately 180 degrees on a horizontal pivot, allowing the beam to be directed down onto a book, across a desk, or up onto a wall. The rotation is manual and holds position without drift.

What is the base backlight for?

The warm LED ring in the base casts a soft glow onto the surface beneath the lamp, functioning as ambient accent lighting or as a low-level night light when the main beam is switched off. It operates independently from the rotating head.

What desk or table size does it suit?

The 15cm circular base footprint fits onto bedside tables as narrow as 30cm wide and desk depths as shallow as 40cm without overhanging. The 45.5cm total length means the rotating head can extend over the edge of a desk if needed to direct light onto a keyboard or document.
