Description

The Estalacta is a 1570mm floor lamp built around six vertical silver stems of varying heights, each topped with an elongated opal white glass diffuser housing a single GU10 bulb. The stems rise from a 850mm x 150mm brushed silver base, creating a sculptural arrangement reminiscent of stalactite formations inverted to stand upright.

Designed for contemporary living rooms, entrance halls and office reception areas, the Estalacta functions as both ambient lighting and an architectural feature. The six separate GU10 bulbs (sold separately) can be positioned to direct light upwards at the ceiling for wash lighting, or angled slightly to provide diffused ambient fill across a room. The 850mm width needs at least 1m of wall or floor space to avoid the outer stems being too close to furniture. The substantial 13.5kg weight gives the fitting stability on hard floors and short-pile rugs without needing wall fixing.

Each opal white diffuser is made from hand-blown glass with a soft white tone that conceals the bulb while allowing light to pass through evenly. The silver stems are powder-coated aluminium with a low-sheen finish that reads as brushed nickel rather than high-polish chrome. The varying heights of the six stems create visual rhythm, with the tallest stem reaching 1570mm and the shortest sitting at approximately 900mm, giving the composition a natural, organic silhouette when viewed from the side.
