Description

The Estalacta is a 660mm table lamp built around three vertical opal white columns rising from a circular silver base, each column housing a single GU10 bulb (sold separately). The columns taper from a wider base to a rounded cap at the top, resembling stylised stalagmites or pillar candles. The opal white glass diffuses light along the full length of each column rather than emitting it from a single point, turning the columns themselves into the light source.

Designed for console tables, sideboards and occasional tables where the lamp acts as both light source and sculpture, the Estalacta works in living rooms, hallways and bedroom settings. The 240mm diameter circular base provides stability on flat surfaces, and the three-point configuration of the columns gives the lamp visual balance from multiple viewing angles. The silver finish on the metal base adds a cool metallic accent that contrasts with the soft white glass.

The lamp is dimmable when paired with dimmable GU10 LED bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch, allowing the light level to be adjusted from a low ambient glow to higher-output task lighting. The three separate bulbs provide redundancy. If one fails, the other two continue to light the piece. At 2.3kg the lamp has enough weight to remain stable but can still be repositioned on a surface without requiring two people to lift it.

The lamp takes three GU10 bulbs, sold separately. Most users pair this with LED GU10 bulbs between 4-6W in warm white (2700K-3000K) for ambient lighting. The opal glass diffuses the light along the column length, so higher-wattage bulbs are not typically needed.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, when paired with dimmable GU10 LED bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch on the circuit. Non-dimmable bulbs will not dim and may flicker or fail if connected to a dimmer.

Can the columns be replaced if one breaks?

The opal glass columns are part of the lamp assembly. Contact Niori for spare parts availability if a column is damaged.

What surfaces does it suit?

The 240mm circular base sits flat on console tables, sideboards, occasional tables and wide windowsills. The base should sit on a stable, level surface, the 2.3kg weight gives stability but the lamp can tip if knocked on an uneven surface.
