Description

The Estalacta is a 1.56m outdoor floor lamp built around a tapered column of opal white polyethylene on a circular silver metal base. A single GU10 bulb (sold separately) sits inside the column at the top, casting light downward through the translucent polyethylene to create ambient wash light on terraces, patios and covered outdoor seating areas.

Designed for outdoor use under covered or semi-exposed conditions, the Estalacta carries an IP44 rating, providing protection against water splashes from any direction but not suitable for continuous rain exposure or unprotected positions. The 150mm column diameter and 2.9kg weight give the lamp stability on flat paving, decking and outdoor tiles without needing to be fixed down. The tapered form narrows as it rises, creating a vertical accent that works alongside outdoor furniture without dominating the layout.

The opal white polyethylene diffuses the GU10 light source evenly along the column's length, softening the direct beam and reducing glare when viewed from seating height. The silver metal base anchors the column and provides a neutral metallic accent that pairs with stainless steel outdoor furniture, grey stone paving and contemporary garden layouts. The lamp accepts any standard GU10 bulb up to the wattage limit specified, allowing the user to choose warm white, cool white or RGB colour-changing options depending on the application.

No. The lamp takes a standard GU10 bulb (sold separately), allowing you to choose the wattage, colour temperature and beam angle that suits your outdoor space. Most users pair it with a 5-7W warm white LED GU10.

Is it dimmable?

Dimming depends on the GU10 bulb you fit. If you use a dimmable GU10 LED paired with a compatible outdoor dimmer, the lamp will dim. Non-dimmable GU10 bulbs will operate at full brightness only.

Does it need to be fixed to the ground?

No. The 2.9kg weight and circular base provide stability on flat outdoor surfaces like paving, decking and tiles without needing to be bolted down. On uneven ground or in high-wind areas you may wish to add weight to the base.
