Description

The Esparta is a 1030mm linear suspension light built around a slim matt black metal bar with two cylindrical downlights, each tipped with a polished gold accent at the base. An integrated 30W LED module inside the bar delivers 1400 lumens of warm 3000K light through a 120° beam angle, casting broad, even illumination across kitchen islands, dining tables or worktops below.

Designed for installation over linear surfaces between 1.2-1.5m wide, the Esparta hangs on adjustable cables allowing drops from 350mm to 1500mm depending on ceiling height and table position. The 70mm width of the bar keeps the fitting visually light while the two downlights spread light evenly along the bar's length, avoiding the single-point hotspot of a conventional pendant. The black frame and gold detailing pair with contemporary, industrial and mid-century interiors where contrast between dark metal and warm accents is wanted.

The matt black powder-coated finish on the bar absorbs reflections during daylight, keeping the fitting subdued when not lit, while the polished gold accent at each downlight catches and reflects ambient light. At under 1kg the Esparta installs onto standard UK ceiling roses without additional structural support. The integrated LED is non-dimmable and runs on AC220-240V mains power.

Is the Esparta dimmable?

No. The integrated LED module runs at a fixed 30W output on mains power and is not compatible with dimmer switches.

What surface width does it suit?

The 1030mm length works over kitchen islands, dining tables or worktops between 1.2-1.5m wide. Surfaces narrower than 1.2m may make the fitting look disproportionately long, while wider surfaces may benefit from pairing two Esparta units in tandem.

How is the drop adjusted?

The suspension cables are adjustable on installation between 350mm and 1500mm. Once set, the drop is fixed unless the fitting is taken down and the cables re-adjusted. Most installations over a dining table or island position the fitting 700-900mm above the surface.

Can the gold accents be replaced or removed?

No. The gold-tipped downlight housings are integral to the fitting and cannot be swapped for a different finish. If a full-black version is needed, contact us to check availability of alternative Mantra linear suspension models.
