Description

The ESP MagDuo 2-wire fire repeater panel is a remote display and control interface for MagDuo 4-zone and 8-zone fire alarm control panels. The repeater connects to the control panel using two-wire addressable loop wiring and mirrors the main panel's status indicators at a remote location, showing fire, fault, disabled, test and power conditions on five dedicated LEDs plus a backlit LCD display module.

Designed for commercial and multi-storey residential installations where the main fire alarm panel is located in a plant room or service area not accessible to building occupants or reception staff, the repeater allows monitoring of system status from lobbies, security desks, reception areas or on different floors. The repeater also provides active control functions including silence alarms, reset system, sound alarms and silence buzzer, giving authorised personnel the ability to manage alarm events without accessing the main panel location.

The system controls are operated through a five-button directional pad with enter and escape buttons, protected by a key-operated enable switch to prevent accidental activation. Up to eight MagDuo repeater panels can be connected to a single control panel on the same two-wire loop, allowing status displays at multiple remote locations throughout a building. The black plastic housing measures 340mm × 350mm × 101mm and is designed for surface mounting on walls near entry points or security stations.

The repeater is compatible exclusively with ESP MagDuo 4-zone and 8-zone control panels — it cannot be used with other manufacturers' fire alarm systems or ESP's other panel ranges. The unit requires connection to the control panel's addressable loop output and draws power from the loop, so no separate mains supply is needed at the repeater location.
