Description

The ESP HC428BB is a 4MP IP bullet camera from the HDview IP 24/7 range, finished in black and powered over a single Power over Ethernet cable. It pairs a 2.8mm fixed lens with a 4-megapixel sensor to give a wide, detailed view of driveways, entrances and yards, and it is built for continuous around-the-clock monitoring as part of a wired IP CCTV system.

Because power and data run together over one ethernet connection, there is no need for a separate mains supply at the camera position, which keeps installation tidy and flexible. The camera connects back to a compatible HDview IP 24/7 network video recorder where footage is stored and viewed, and the fixed 2.8mm lens gives a consistent wide field of view that suits monitoring a whole forecourt or approach rather than a single distant point.

The black housing suits darker fascias and soffits where a less conspicuous finish is wanted, while the bullet form makes the direction of view obvious as a visible deterrent. It is made to work alongside the rest of the HDview IP 24/7 cameras and recorders, so channels can be added as a system grows.

It connects to a compatible ESP HDview IP 24/7 network video recorder, which handles recording, playback and remote viewing. The recorder is purchased separately.

Is the lens adjustable?

No, this model has a fixed 2.8mm lens. If you need to adjust the field of view remotely, choose a motorised varifocal camera from the range instead.
