Description

The ESP Beacon is a three-part disabled toilet alarm kit comprising an indication module, a pull cord module and a reset module, all finished in brushed stainless steel. The pull cord module mounts inside the accessible toilet cubicle, triggering an audible and visual alarm when pulled. The indication module mounts outside the cubicle door to alert staff or caregivers, while the reset module allows the alarm to be silenced once assistance has been provided.

Designed for commercial, hospitality, healthcare and public building installations, the kit meets Part M building regulations and BS8300 compliance requirements for accessible toilet facilities. The system includes an integrated battery backup function, maintaining alarm operation during mains power failure. A disabled persons stainless steel door sign is supplied with the kit. The 230mm x 242mm x 52mm indication module is compact enough to fit beside most standard door frames without obstructing circulation space.

The brushed stainless steel finish resists corrosion in humid bathroom environments and maintains a clean appearance across high-traffic public facilities. The system is expandable post-installation to include additional indication or pull cord modules if the facility layout requires alarm coverage across multiple toilet cubicles or staff areas. All three modules are surface-mounted with standard fixing screws, allowing retrofit installation without major electrical work.
