Description

The ESP UDTALBMSS is a wall-mounted alarm indicator module for accessible toilet installations, combining a red LED warning triangle with an 80dB audible buzzer behind a brushed stainless steel faceplate. The module measures 92mm square and 48mm deep, designed to fit a standard UK back box and pair with the ESP UDTAKITSS disabled toilet alarm kit.

Installed outside accessible toilet doors in commercial, hospitality, healthcare and public building settings, the module provides both visual and audible alerts when the emergency pull cord inside the toilet is activated. The red LED triangle illuminates immediately and the 80dB buzzer sounds, notifying staff or nearby occupants that assistance is required. The stainless steel finish resists fingerprints and surface wear in high-traffic areas.

The module connects via low-voltage cabling to the main control panel of the UDTAKITSS kit, which also includes the in-room pull cords, reset button and power supply. The 92mm x 92mm faceplate matches standard UK switch and socket dimensions, making it straightforward to install alongside existing electrical accessories without custom mounting.

Does this module work as a standalone unit?

No. The UDTALBMSS is an indicator module only and must be connected to the ESP UDTAKITSS accessible toilet alarm kit, which includes the control panel, pull cords, reset button and power supply.

What is the buzzer volume?

The buzzer outputs 80dB, which is audible through typical commercial interior walls and across corridors but not overwhelming in a small waiting area directly outside the door.

What voltage does it operate on?

The module runs on low voltage supplied by the UDTAKITSS control panel. See the product manual in the Downloads tab for full wiring and voltage specifications.

Can the LED and buzzer be silenced separately?

The alarm is reset using the reset button included in the UDTAKITSS kit. Both the LED and buzzer turn off when the reset is activated and the pull cord has returned to its normal position.
