The Esen pouffe is a round, upholstered outdoor pouffe: a fabric drum that is 60cm across at the base, narrowing gently to 50cm across the top, and 40cm high. It sits on a 19mm outdoor plywood base 55cm across, and the whole piece is covered in the outdoor fabric you choose, with a neat seam around the top edge. At 40cm high it works as a low seat, a footrest in front of a garden sofa, or a handy perch beside a coffee table.

It is made for outdoor use and resists weathering and sunlight, so it belongs on a terrace, patio, balcony or poolside, or in a corner of the garden where people gather. Use one as a garden stool for an extra guest, or place two side by side next to a low table. We sell it in two versions, Standard or Weatherproof Inner Fabric, and in forty-six outdoor fabrics across acrylic, polyolefin and Vinytex, including Pan White, Wabi Ecru and Pan Bone, so it can sit quietly with what you already have or bring in a colour of its own.

Each pouffe is made to order in Barcelona, Spain. The upholstery is removable, which makes cleaning simple: wipe the fabric with a damp sponge and a little neutral soap in plenty of water, use a soft brush on a stubborn stain and never harsh chemicals. The acrylic fabrics wash at 30°C, and the polyolefin fabrics are best brushed or vacuumed to lift dust. It comes with the maker's guarantee of five years for domestic use and two years for commercial use against manufacturing defects; cushions, covers and fabrics are not covered. Packed, it weighs just 7kg, a light piece to carry wherever you want to sit as the sun moves.
