Description
The Erzeni is a round recessed LED downlight: a white bezel framing a faceted reflector, with a black finned body behind it in aluminium and plastic. It measures 17.2cm in diameter and 6.9cm tall, and the light comes from integrated LEDs, so there is no bulb to find or fit. A small selector on the back sets the light to 3000K, 4000K or 6500K. It carries IP20 and IP54 ratings, and we suggest it for indoor rooms that stay dry.
Downlights do their best work in kitchens, hallways, living rooms and home offices, anywhere you want even light from the ceiling with nothing hanging into the room. The selector is what makes this one worth a second look: warm 3000K suits a living room in the evening, 4000K gives a clear, neutral light for a kitchen or study, and 6500K is crisp and bright for a utility room or workspace. You can fit a run of them in one white finish and set each to suit its room, so the ceiling looks uniform while the light does different jobs in different spaces.
Two spring clips hold it in a 15cm cut-out, and it needs 8.9cm of recess depth in the ceiling void, so measure that space before you order. The black finned rear is a heatsink, and aluminium is a good conductor of heat. The LEDs can be replaced, so the light source can be renewed without changing the whole fitting. It weighs 0.62KG and has no switch of its own; it is switched at the wall. We recommend it is installed by a qualified electrician, and the installation instructions are available as a download.

Frequently Asked
What size hole does the Erzeni downlight need?
It needs a 15cm cut-out in the ceiling, and you should allow 8.9cm of recess depth in the void behind it.
Can I change the colour of the light?
Yes. A selector on the back sets it to 3000K, 4000K or 6500K, running from a warm light through neutral to a crisp, bright one.
Which rooms suit the Erzeni downlight?
Kitchens, hallways, living rooms, studies and home offices all suit it. It carries IP20 and IP54 ratings, and we suggest it for indoor rooms that stay dry, so not outdoors or in a bathroom.
Does it need a bulb?
No. The light comes from integrated LEDs, so there is no bulb to buy, and the LEDs can be replaced in time.
How is the downlight switched?
There is no switch on the fitting itself. It is switched at the wall, so you turn it on and off from a wall switch.
Which materials form the downlight's body?
The body is aluminium and plastic, with a white bezel at the front and a black finned heatsink at the back. It weighs 0.62KG.
