Not a hard, moulded dome or a smooth glass globe, our Eos Lampshade Mini is a rounded gathering of soft feathers, wider than it is tall. We chose Light Blue for this one, a gentle wash of colour that keeps the shape looking light and airy rather than heavy. Approximately 900 goose feathers are layered over a textile and steel structure, giving it a cloud-like softness that catches and diffuses the light beautifully. It measures 20cm in height and 35cm in diameter, and weighs just 0.2kg, so it stays easy to hang or set in place.

The Mini is genuinely versatile, working as a pendant, floor or table lampshade depending on where you need it. It suits an E27 fitting and takes a bulb of up to 15W LED, which is not included, so you can pick the warmth that fits your room. For a soft, restful glow we tend to reach for something around 2700K. The feathers are sourced to the RDS Standard, something we take seriously, and the whole shade comes together in around five minutes with our assembly video to guide you through it.

At this size the Eos Lampshade Mini feels right above a bedside table lamp base, over a reading nook, or clustered with a couple of others for a bit of gentle repetition across a hallway. The Light Blue tone sits comfortably against pale walls and natural wood, and it holds its own without shouting for attention.
