Description

This is a long, slim batten light in white, with a plastic body and an opal plastic diffuser running its full length. It measures 118.8cm long, 8.5cm wide and 8.1cm high, and it weighs 1.67KG. Integrated LEDs give 5,700 lumens at a colour temperature of 4000K, a clear, neutral white that suits practical spaces where you need to see properly. It is rated IP65, which means it is sealed against dust and protected from jets of water, so it can live outdoors on a house wall as readily as it works indoors.

That rating makes this batten a sensible choice for the places where an ordinary ceiling light would not cope: a garage, a workshop, a utility room, a covered porch or the outside wall of a house. We would also suggest it for a bathroom, and a qualified electrician will confirm the right zone. The opal diffuser softens the glare of the LEDs into a broad line of light, which is what you want over a work bench, a sink or a parking space.
