Description

The Emberleaf Small is a 110mm diameter spherical pendant with a matt white metal shade, a white ceiling canopy, and a single GU10 downward-facing lamp holder at the base of the sphere. The 2000mm cable drop is adjustable on installation, and the pendant is compatible with dimmable GU10 bulbs (sold separately).

Designed for kitchen islands, breakfast bars, work surfaces and dining tables where multiple pendants are clustered together, the Emberleaf Small provides directed task light without visual bulk. The 110mm sphere is compact enough to hang three or five in a row over a 1.8-2.4m island or worktop without overcrowding the space. Each pendant casts a cone of light downward through the open base, while the matt white finish diffuses some ambient light upward and sideways.

The spherical metal shade is formed from pressed steel with a powder-coated matt white finish that sits comfortably in Scandinavian, minimalist and contemporary interiors. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor areas (not bathrooms). The pendant accepts any GU10 bulb up to the rated wattage, so you can choose between warm white LED for ambient lighting or a higher-output bulb for task lighting depending on the application.

Is this pendant dimmable?

The pendant itself is dimmer-compatible. Dimmability depends on the GU10 bulb you install and the dimmer switch model. For smooth dimming, pair a dimmable LED GU10 bulb with a trailing-edge LED-compatible dimmer.

What bulb does it take?

The pendant takes a standard GU10 twist-and-lock bulb (sold separately). Most users pair this with a 5-7W warm white LED GU10 for task lighting over a kitchen island or breakfast bar.

Can I use this in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating means the pendant is not protected against moisture and must be used in dry indoor areas only. For bathrooms you need a pendant with an IP44 or higher rating.

How many pendants do I need over a kitchen island?

For a typical 1.8-2.4m island, three Emberleaf Small pendants hung in a row at 600-800mm spacing provide even task light coverage. For shorter islands (1.2-1.5m), two pendants usually suffice.
