Description

The Emberleaf Large is a 150mm diameter spherical pendant finished in matt black on the exterior with a white inner reflector. A single GU10 bulb (sold separately) sits recessed inside the sphere, directing light downwards through a circular aperture in the base. The white interior reflects and softens the beam pattern, reducing glare while maintaining intensity on the surface below.

Designed for task and accent lighting over kitchen islands, breakfast bars and dining tables, the Emberleaf hangs on a 2000mm black cable that can be shortened during installation to suit ceiling heights from 2.4m upwards. For a typical dining table or island worktop, the pendant sits 700-900mm above the surface. Multiple pendants can be spaced 600-800mm apart along an island run to provide even coverage without overlapping pools of light.

The 150mm sphere has enough physical presence to read as a feature rather than a utility fitting, but remains small enough to group without overwhelming a domestic kitchen or dining area. The matt black exterior finish absorbs ambient light during the day and recedes against darker ceilings, while the white aperture creates a defined circle of contrast when viewed from below. The GU10 fitting accepts LED, halogen or CFL bulbs up to 50W, and the pendant is dimmable when paired with an appropriate GU10 bulb and compatible dimmer switch.

Can the cable length be adjusted?

The 2000mm cable can be shortened during installation by looping excess cable inside the ceiling rose or canopy. Once installed, the cable length is fixed unless the pendant is re-fitted.
