Description

The Emberfield is a single-head spotlight in a white powder-coated metal finish, mounted on a 55mm diameter surface plate with a cylindrical head that extends 100mm from the ceiling when tilted to the vertical position. The spotlight head rotates and tilts on a ball joint inside the canopy, allowing light to be directed at walls, worktops, artwork or architectural features without needing to reposition the fitting itself.

Designed for ceiling-mounting in kitchens, home offices, hallways and retail spaces where directed task or accent light is needed, the Emberfield suits rooms with ceiling heights from 2.1m upwards. The compact 55mm footprint allows multiple units to be spaced along a ceiling run without visual clutter, creating a track-light effect without needing a track system. The white finish integrates cleanly into white or light-painted ceilings, making the fitting less visible when the light is off.

The Emberfield takes a single GU10 bulb (sold separately) up to 50W equivalent, giving flexibility to choose LED bulbs between 3W and 7W depending on the level of brightness required. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor environments only. The spotlight is dimmable when paired with a compatible GU10 LED bulb and a trailing-edge dimmer switch on the circuit.

Is the Emberfield dimmable?

The fitting itself is dimmer-compatible. Dimming requires a dimmable GU10 LED bulb and a trailing-edge dimmer switch on the circuit. Not all GU10 LEDs dim smoothly, so check the bulb specification before pairing with a dimmer.

What bulb does it take?

The Emberfield takes a single GU10 bulb up to 50W equivalent. Most users fit a 3W-7W GU10 LED in 3000K or 4000K depending on the room. The bulb is sold separately.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating means the fitting is not protected against moisture and must only be used in dry indoor environments. Bathrooms require IP44 or higher.

How adjustable is the head?

The cylindrical head rotates 350 degrees horizontally and tilts approximately 90 degrees from vertical to near-horizontal, allowing light to be aimed at worktops, walls, or angled onto artwork without needing to reposition the ceiling plate.
