Emberfield 6 Light Track Spotlight Suspension - Brass & Matt Black

The Emberfield is a 1155mm track spotlight suspension carrying six individually adjustable brass GU10 spotlight heads on a matt black horizontal bar. Each spotlight rotates and tilts independently, allowing light to be directed onto worktops, dining tables, retail displays or feature walls. The bar suspends from the ceiling on two adjustable cables, positioning the spotlights anywhere between 300mm and 1500mm below the ceiling rose.

Designed for kitchens, dining rooms, retail spaces and offices where task lighting needs flexibility, the Emberfield replaces traditional fixed downlights with a suspended system that can be repositioned without rewiring. The 1155mm bar suits kitchen islands between 1200-1800mm wide, dining tables for six to eight people, and counter runs where multiple work zones need different light angles. The GU10 fittings accept LED, halogen or low-energy bulbs (sold separately) and are dimmable when paired with compatible bulbs and dimmer switches.

The brass spotlight heads contrast against the matt black bar, giving the fitting a two-tone industrial character that works in both modern and period interiors. Each brass cylinder measures 55mm projection and 105mm height, housing a GU10 lamp behind a clear glass lens. The IP20 rating restricts the Emberfield to dry indoor locations — it is not suitable for bathrooms, wet rooms or outdoor covered areas. What bulbs does the Emberfield take?

The fitting takes six GU10 bulbs, sold separately. Most users pair this with 4-6W LED GU10 bulbs at 2700K-3000K for warm task lighting, or 4000K for cooler commercial environments. The fitting is dimmable when used with dimmable GU10 bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch.

How adjustable are the individual spotlights?

Each of the six spotlight heads rotates 350° horizontally and tilts approximately 90° vertically, allowing light to be angled onto specific surfaces or features. The heads can be repositioned by hand without tools once the fitting is installed.

What ceiling height is needed?

The suspension cables are adjustable from 300mm to 1500mm, allowing the bar to be positioned at different heights depending on ceiling height and application. For a kitchen island or dining table, the bar typically sits 700-900mm above the surface, which works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. It is not rated for wet rooms or outdoor covered areas where moisture is present.
