Description

The Emberara is an 8-light crystal chandelier built on a polished chrome frame with three tiers of faceted crystal rods suspended in a cascading waterfall formation. Each tier holds crystal prisms of different lengths, creating a graduated drop from 400mm diameter at the top ring to approximately 620mm total height. Eight E14 bulb fittings sit concealed within the top tier, casting light downward through the crystal to create prismatic reflections.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and living spaces with ceiling heights of 2.6m or above, the Emberara pairs decorative impact with functional ambient lighting. The 620mm drop suits rooms where a substantial centrepiece is needed without overwhelming a 3m ceiling. The chandelier suspends on a chrome canopy and adjustable cable, allowing the drop to be set during installation. The polished chrome finish on the frame rings provides high-reflectivity contrast to the frosted and clear crystal mix.

Each crystal rod is individually hung on the chrome rings, creating movement and light play as air currents shift the prisms. The faceted cut on the crystal rods refracts light into colour spectrum flashes when the bulbs are on, which works best with clear filament LED or halogen bulbs rated for E14 fittings. The IP20 rating restricts the chandelier to dry indoor locations only. The 400mm diameter footprint suits dining tables of 1.4-1.8m length and entrance halls of 2.5m width or more.

Frequently Asked

What bulbs does the Emberara take?

The chandelier uses eight E14 small Edison screw bulbs, sold separately. Clear filament LED bulbs rated 4-6W and 2700K work well, as the clear glass allows the filament to be visible and the light refracts through the crystal prisms more effectively than frosted bulbs.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, the chandelier is compatible with dimmer switches when paired with dimmable E14 bulbs. Ensure your dimmer is rated for the total wattage of all eight bulbs combined and is LED-compatible if using LED bulbs.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 620mm drop works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.6m or above. For dining table installation, the bottom tier of crystal should sit approximately 750-850mm above the table surface, which requires a ceiling height of roughly 2.8m when accounting for the chandelier drop and suspension cable.

Can the crystal rods be cleaned?

Yes. Each crystal rod hangs individually and can be wiped with a dry microfibre cloth or a cloth very lightly dampened with distilled water. Avoid spraying cleaning products directly onto the chandelier, as residue can dull the crystal and corrode the chrome frame.
