Description

The Elysian is a 500mm diameter pendant light formed from a single conical shade in white powder-coated metal, suspended on a 2m adjustable cable with a white ceiling rose. The shade houses one E27 bulb fitting (bulb sold separately) and is open at the top, allowing upward light to reflect off the ceiling while the downward beam provides direct task or ambient light below.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and larger open-plan living areas, the Elysian suits ceiling heights of 2.4m or higher where a pendant can be positioned 700-800mm above a dining surface or 900-1000mm above a kitchen worktop. The 2m cable allows the drop to be adjusted during installation to suit the room height and furniture layout. The shade's 500mm diameter provides wide light coverage without needing multiple pendants over a standard 4-6 seater dining table.

The white powder-coated metal finish gives a clean, matte surface that reduces glare under direct lighting and pairs with both warm and cool colour schemes. The shade depth of 170mm creates a shallow profile that suits lower ceilings better than deeper drum or globe pendants. The E27 fitting accepts any standard screw-base LED, halogen or filament bulb up to the maximum wattage specified by Ideal Lux, and the pendant is dimmable when paired with a compatible dimmer switch and dimmable bulb.
