Description

The Elsa is a 22.5cm glass bell pendant light with a dual-layer shade: a copper-toned outer glass layer with a reflective metallic finish, and a frosted white inner cone that diffuses light downwards. The outer copper glass catches and reflects ambient room light, while the frosted inner layer softens glare from the bulb and prevents direct line-of-sight to the filament or LED element. The pendant takes a single E27 bulb, sold separately.

Designed for kitchen islands, dining tables, breakfast bars and hallway positions where a compact pendant provides focused downlight without dominating the space. The 2350mm cable length allows the pendant to be shortened on installation to suit ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3m, with the shade typically hung 600-800mm above a worktop or 700-900mm above a dining surface. The copper tone pairs with warm brass, bronze and natural wood finishes in both contemporary and period interiors.

The bell profile tapers from a 225mm diameter at the widest point down to the narrow cable entry at the top, giving the shade a balanced proportion when viewed from below. The frosted inner cone is fixed inside the outer copper glass and cannot be separated, creating a single assembly that weighs 1.27kg once fitted. The copper finish on the outer glass is applied during manufacture rather than plated afterwards, giving it resistance to surface wear.

The pendant is dimmable when paired with a dimmable E27 LED or halogen bulb and a compatible trailing-edge dimmer on the circuit. Non-dimmable LED bulbs will not dim and may flicker if used with a dimmer switch.
