The Elsa is a 17cm diameter glass pendant light built around two layers: a copper-tinted outer glass cylinder and a frosted inner cone that houses a single E27 bulb fitting. The copper tone reflects and tints ambient light during the day, while the frosted inner layer diffuses bulb light into a soft downward glow at night. The pendant hangs on a slim grey-brown cord adjustable up to 2350mm, allowing the shade to sit 600-900mm above a worktop or table depending on ceiling height.

Designed for kitchen islands, dining tables, bar counters and hallway installations where a single directed pendant provides task or accent light, the Elsa works best in multiples spaced 400-600mm apart over longer surfaces. The copper tone pairs with warm wood, brass taps and handles, terracotta or earthy colour schemes, while the compact 17cm diameter keeps the visual weight low enough to use three or four pendants in a row without overwhelming the space.

The outer glass carries a metallic copper tint rather than a solid copper finish, so the shade remains translucent and picks up reflections from surrounding surfaces. The frosted inner cone hides the bulb from direct view and softens the light spread, preventing glare when the pendant is hung at typical eye-level heights. The entire fitting weighs 1.21kg, light enough for standard ceiling roses but substantial enough to hang stable without swaying noticeably in draughts.

Is the Elsa dimmable?

Yes, when paired with a dimmable E27 bulb and a compatible dimmer switch. The fitting itself does not contain dimming circuitry, so both the bulb and the wall dimmer must be rated for the same dimming protocol.

What bulb does it take?

The Elsa takes a standard E27 (Edison screw) bulb, sold separately. Most users pair this with a 6-10W LED in 2700K-3000K for warm task light over kitchen islands or dining tables.

Can the cord length be adjusted?

Yes. The 2350mm cord can be shortened during installation to suit the ceiling height and intended hanging position. Most kitchen island installations set the shade 700-900mm above the worktop.

How is the glass cleaned?

Wipe the outer copper-tinted glass and frosted inner cone with a dry microfibre cloth. For stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable. Avoid sprays and chemical cleaners that may damage the metallic tint.
