Description

The Elio is a modern abstract rug in beige and cream, built from half circles and quarter circles that meet and turn across its whole surface. The cream shapes are clean and bright, while the beige areas carry a soft, flecked texture that shades from lighter to deeper tones, giving the design depth without busy colour. Its geometric pattern has a mid century modern feel. It is machine made from polypropylene and polyester with a high density weave, and its multi-textured pile gives the surface a varied feel underfoot.

It is made for the living room, where its quiet palette works with grey, cream, sage or wooden furniture alike. The 120 by 170cm size suits a reading corner or the space in front of an armchair or a small sofa. The 160 by 230cm rug sits comfortably under a coffee table with the front legs of a sofa resting on it, and the 200 by 290cm size anchors a larger seating area or an open plan room, framing the whole arrangement.

The high density weave gives a close, full surface, and the pile is soft, so it is comfortable for bare feet and for sitting on the floor with a book.
