The Elena is a 520mm diameter 3-light chandelier with a black chrome frame hand-wrapped in Asfour crystal beading, suspended on an adjustable chain from a matching black chrome ceiling canopy. Three curved arms extend from a central column, each terminating in a candle-style E14 bulb holder set on a polished metal drip tray, with a faceted crystal sphere hanging beneath the centre as a focal point.

Designed for dining rooms, bedrooms and entrance halls with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Elena pairs the reflective brilliance of crystal with the depth of black chrome metalwork. The 470-1570mm adjustable drop allows the chandelier to be set 700-900mm above a dining table or positioned higher in a two-storey entrance hall. The crystal beading wraps each arm completely, minimising visible metal and creating a continuous reflective surface that catches and scatters light from the three bulbs.

The black chrome finish provides contrast against the crystal without the warmth of brass or the brightness of polished chrome, suiting both monochrome and jewel-toned interiors. The chandelier weighs 1.8kg once fully assembled, requiring a secure ceiling fixing capable of supporting the combined weight of the frame, crystal and chain. Asfour crystal is machine-cut lead-free crystal glass with a high refractive index, giving sharper light refraction than standard glass beads.

What bulbs does the Elena take?

The chandelier takes three E14 (small Edison screw) candle bulbs up to 60W each, sold separately. Most users pair this with 4-6W LED candle bulbs in warm white (2700K-3000K) to replicate the look of traditional chandelier candles without the heat output of incandescent bulbs.

Is the drop adjustable on installation?

Yes. The chain suspension allows the drop to be set anywhere between 470mm and 1570mm during fitting. For dining tables the chandelier typically hangs 700-800mm above the table surface, which works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above.

Can the Elena be dimmed?

Yes, provided you fit dimmable E14 bulbs and pair the chandelier with a compatible dimmer switch. Not all LED bulbs dim smoothly — check the bulb packaging confirms dimmer compatibility before purchase.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off the mains and allow bulbs to cool fully. Wipe each crystal bead with a dry microfibre cloth to remove dust. For more thorough cleaning, use a barely-damp cloth with distilled water, working carefully to avoid loosening the beading wire. Do not use sprays, polishes or chemical cleaners on the crystal.
