The Elena is a 400mm-tall crystal table lamp built around a black chrome stem wrapped in clear Asfour crystal sheet, with a faceted crystal sphere set midway up the column. The lamp accepts a single E27 bulb (sold separately) and is supplied without a shade, allowing you to pair it with the shade style and fabric of your choice.

Designed for bedside tables, console tables and side tables in living rooms and bedrooms, the Elena provides decorative presence when unlit and directional task light when fitted with a shade and bulb. The black chrome base measures 180mm across and the crystal-wrapped stem gives the lamp a 2.1kg weight that prevents it from being knocked over easily. The inline rocker switch sits on the cable approximately 300mm from the base, keeping the lamp body free of visible controls.

The Asfour crystal sheet is hand-wrapped around the metal stem in overlapping layers, creating a textured surface that catches ambient light during the day and reflects bulb light when switched on. The faceted crystal sphere interrupts the vertical line and adds a second focal point. The black chrome finish on the base and internal metalwork provides contrast against the clear crystal and pairs well with both dark-toned interiors and rooms using silver, pewter or graphite accent colours.

The lamp is dimmable when paired with a dimmable E27 LED bulb and a compatible trailing-edge dimmer. Wall and floor lamp versions of the Elena are available separately from Diyas, allowing you to build a coordinated scheme across multiple rooms.

No. The lamp is sold without a shade to allow you to choose the shade size, colour and fabric that suits your room. Diyas recommends a 300-350mm diameter shade for balanced proportions, though smaller or larger shades can be used depending on the table size and intended light spread.

What bulb does it take?

The Elena takes a standard E27 (Edison screw) bulb up to 60W. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED bulb between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K. Bulbs are sold separately.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, when paired with a dimmable E27 LED bulb and a compatible trailing-edge dimmer. The inline switch on the cable turns the lamp on and off, but dimming requires a separate wall-mounted or plug-in dimmer control.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Wipe the Asfour crystal sheet and sphere gently with a dry microfibre cloth. For fingerprints or marks, a barely-damp cloth is acceptable, but avoid soaking the crystal or getting moisture into the join between crystal and metal. Do not use household sprays or polishes on the crystal.
