Egersund LED Tall Bollard - Graphite

The Egersund is an 850mm tall bollard in powder-coated graphite aluminium with an integrated 10W LED producing 1100 lumens at 3000K. The cylindrical acrylic head sits on a graphite column, diffusing warm white light downwards and outwards for path marking and low-level area illumination. The IP65 rating protects the internal LED module and wiring from dust ingress and water jets from any direction.

Designed for driveways, pathways, garden borders and commercial forecourts where bollard lighting is preferred over wall or overhead fittings, the 850mm height places the light source above typical ground vegetation without protruding into the sightline of pedestrians. For continuous pathway illumination with the Egersund, position bollards at 4-5m intervals. Closer spacing (3-4m) provides brighter coverage for driveways or commercial pedestrian routes. Wider spacing (6-7m) works for decorative marker lighting where full visibility is not critical.

How is the bollard installed?

The base is typically embedded into a concrete footing 200-300mm deep, with mains cable run underground in conduit to the bollard position. Some installers use a surface-mount base plate on existing hard surfaces, though this creates a trip edge and is less stable. Installation requires a qualified electrician for the mains connection.

Is the LED replaceable?
