The Egeo is a 61cm linear LED wall light built around a rectangular matt black aluminium bar housing an integrated 20W LED strip that outputs 1600 lumens at 3000K warm white. The fitting projects 90mm from the wall and spans 610mm horizontally with a 35mm vertical profile, creating a floating horizontal line of light along the wall surface.

Designed for hallways, staircases, above picture rails, and as accent lighting in living rooms or bedrooms, the Egeo works as a single piece or in multiples spaced along a wall to create continuous horizontal bands of ambient light. The 90mm projection from the wall allows the light to wash both upward and downward, illuminating the wall surface without glare at typical eye level. Mounting hardware fixes to standard UK back boxes or wall plates depending on the surface.

The matt black powder-coated aluminium finish absorbs rather than reflects light, keeping visual focus on the illuminated wall surfaces rather than the fitting itself. At 1.1kg the fitting has enough mass to feel substantial on the wall without requiring additional bracing beyond standard fixings into brick, block or stud. The non-dimmable LED is rated for 3000K throughout its lifespan, avoiding the colour drift common in lower-grade LED strips.

No. The integrated LED operates at a fixed output of 1600lm and is not compatible with dimmer switches or trailing-edge dimmers.

Does it light up or down or both?

The LED strip inside the bar casts light both upward and downward onto the wall surface, creating a wash effect above and below the fitting. The 90mm projection from the wall prevents the light source itself from being visible at typical eye level.

Can multiple Egeos be installed in a row?

Yes. Spaced 80-120cm apart horizontally, multiple Egeo fittings create continuous bands of light along a wall. Each fitting requires a separate power connection to the mains.

What surfaces can it be mounted to?

The fitting can be mounted to brick, block, plasterboard on studs, or concrete using the supplied wall fixings. For plasterboard-only walls, ensure fixings are anchored into a stud or use heavy-duty plasterboard anchors rated for 1.5kg or more.
