Description

The Efir is a 75mm diameter cylinder pendant light made from powder-coated white aluminium with an integrated 15W 3000K LED inside. The cylinder measures 135mm in length and hangs on a black fabric-covered cable from a 100mm diameter black metal ceiling rose. The LED emits downward-directed warm white light through the open bottom of the cylinder, with the interior finished in a contrasting tone to reduce glare.

Designed for kitchen islands, dining tables, breakfast bars and work surfaces where focused task lighting is needed without a large shade footprint, the Efir works individually over a small table or in multiples spaced along a 2-3m island. The adjustable cable allows the pendant to be set between 165mm minimum and 1365mm maximum drop, giving flexibility to match ceiling heights from 2.4m to 3.5m. At typical kitchen island installation the pendant sits 700-900mm above the worktop.

The white powder-coated aluminium finish gives a clean matt surface that suits contemporary, Scandinavian and minimalist interiors without adding visual weight to the ceiling plane. The 75mm diameter keeps the pendant discreet when viewed from the side, while the 135mm length provides enough projection to cast useful light onto the surface below. The integrated LED removes the need for separate bulb purchases and provides consistent 3000K output across the 5-year warranty period.

Is the Efir dimmable?

The integrated LED is rated at 15W on AC 220-240V. Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific dimmer model. Most LED-compatible trailing-edge dimmers will work, but confirm compatibility before installation.

Can multiple Efir pendants be installed in a row?

Yes. The compact 75mm diameter and downward-directed light make the Efir well-suited to multiple installation along kitchen islands or dining tables. Space pendants 600-900mm apart for even coverage along a 2-3m surface.

What's the recommended installation height?

For kitchen islands and work surfaces, install the pendant 700-900mm above the worktop. For dining tables, 650-750mm above the table surface provides useful task light without obstructing sightlines across the table.

Can the cable length be shortened after installation?

Yes. The fabric-covered cable can be shortened during installation by feeding excess cable into the ceiling rose. The minimum drop of 165mm and maximum of 1365mm allow adjustment to suit most ceiling heights.
