Description

The Eclipso is a 1100mm diameter white fabric pendant light with a ribbed dome canopy and two wide disc-shaped fabric shades extending horizontally from the central suspension point. The fabric construction diffuses light across the full 1100mm span, casting soft ambient light across dining tables, kitchen islands and large living spaces. A single E27 bulb (sold separately) sits within the central dome and its light spreads outward through the translucent white fabric discs.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Eclipso works over rectangular dining tables up to 2.4m long or circular tables up to 1.4m diameter, where the wide horizontal spread of the shade matches the table footprint. The 2000mm cable allows the pendant to be adjusted on installation to sit 700-900mm above the table surface. The dimmable function lets the light level be matched to the time of day or activity, from full brightness for task use to low output for ambient evening lighting.

The ribbed texture on both the dome and the horizontal discs creates subtle shadow lines when lit, adding depth to the otherwise minimal white form. The fabric shades are tensioned over internal wire frames, giving them a clean geometric outline without sagging. At IP20 the Eclipso is rated for dry indoor environments only and is not suitable for bathrooms or outdoor use.

What bulb does the Eclipso take?

The pendant takes a single E27 (Edison screw) bulb, sold separately. Most users pair it with a 10-15W LED bulb at 2700K-3000K for warm ambient light across the 1100mm diameter.

Is it dimmable?

Yes. The Eclipso is compatible with dimmer switches, allowing brightness adjustment from full output to low ambient. Ensure your chosen E27 bulb is also labelled as dimmable for smooth dimming performance.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 2000mm cable allows adjustment on installation. For dining tables the pendant typically sits 700-900mm above the surface, requiring a ceiling height of 2.4m or above. Lower ceilings can work if the cable is shortened during fitting.

How is the fabric cleaned?

The white fabric shades can be dusted with a soft dry cloth or a brush attachment on a vacuum cleaner set to low suction. For more stubborn marks, a barely-damp microfibre cloth is acceptable, but avoid soaking the fabric and do not use household sprays or chemical cleaners.
