Description

The Eclipse is a 2 light table lamp built around two intertwining polished chrome arcs rising from a circular base, each supporting a crescent-shaped optical glass shade. The two G9 bulb fittings (bulbs sold separately) sit inside the glass, which refracts the light outward through the curved surface. The polished chrome finish reflects surrounding light and gives the lamp a mirror-like presence on a surface.

Designed for side tables, console tables and bedside positions in living rooms, dining rooms and bedrooms, the Eclipse provides accent lighting rather than primary room illumination. The 440mm height and 230mm width suit surfaces where the lamp acts as both light source and decorative object. The dual-light configuration spreads light more evenly than a single-bulb lamp, reducing harsh shadows around the base.

The optical glass shades are moulded in a curved crescent form with polished edges, giving each shade a sculptural quality when unlit and causing visible refraction patterns when the bulbs are on. The polished chrome arcs twist around each other in a helical arrangement, with each arc rising at a different angle from the base. The lamp is dimmable when paired with suitable G9 dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch, allowing output to be adjusted from low ambient glow to brighter reading light.
