Description

The Easy Floor is a slimline LED reading lamp built around a single brushed brass stem rising from a 220mm circular base, with an adjustable arm that bends at approximately 1.3m height to direct light downward. The integrated LED sits in a cylindrical head at the end of the arm, projecting 490mm from the vertical stem when positioned horizontally, and casts 3000K warm white light suitable for reading or task work.

Designed for positioning beside armchairs, sofas and beds where a compact footprint matters, the Easy Floor requires only 220mm of floor space and the slender stem sits comfortably behind furniture without blocking sightlines or circulation routes. The adjustable arm allows the lamp head to be angled over a reading position or workspace, providing directed task light without needing a side table or desk lamp. The 2.5m cable run allows placement away from wall sockets where needed.

The brushed brass finish shows a soft satin sheen that sits between polished brass and antique brass in warmth, pairing comfortably with contemporary, mid-century and warm-toned interiors. The integrated LED is rated IP20 for indoor dry locations and carries a 5-year warranty from Ideal Lux. The lamp is not dimmable, delivering consistent output from the 3000K LED suitable for evening reading without the cooler blue tones of higher colour temperatures.

Frequently Asked

Is the Easy Floor dimmable?

No. The integrated LED runs at fixed output on 230V mains and is not compatible with dimmer switches or trailing-edge dimmers. The 3000K output provides consistent warm white light suitable for reading.

Can the lamp head be adjusted?

Yes. The arm bends at approximately 1.3m height from the base, allowing the lamp head to be angled over a reading position, armchair or workspace. The adjustment holds position through friction in the joint rather than a locking mechanism.

What is the base diameter?

The circular base is 220mm in diameter, requiring minimal floor space. This makes the lamp suitable for positioning beside furniture in small rooms or tight corners where a larger tripod or weighted base would obstruct circulation.

Can it be used in bathrooms?

No. The lamp carries an IP20 rating, which means it is rated for indoor dry locations only and must not be used in bathrooms, kitchens near sinks, or any location where moisture or water splash is present.
