Description

The Dusk Dawn is a 50cm table lamp built around a rounded gold-tinted glass dome shade that sits over a tapered conical metal base in matching gold. An integrated 12W LED column rises from the centre of the base into the open shade, casting warm 3000K light that reflects across the inner curve of the tinted glass and pools out around the lamp.

The fitting suits bedside tables, console tables and living room side tables where a soft secondary light is wanted alongside a main ceiling fitting. At 35cm in diameter the shade is wide enough to anchor a console or sideboard without dominating it, and the warm LED colour temperature is calibrated for evening use rather than task work. The integrated light column also means there is no separate bulb to source or replace.

The shade is a single piece of blown glass with a gold metallic tint that reads as warm amber against the lit LED and as a darker mirrored gold when switched off. The conical base is finished in polished gold that catches reflected light from the shade above, so the lamp reads as a single sculptural object rather than a shade-on-stem silhouette. The combined glass and metal construction gives the fitting weight and stability on smooth surfaces.

Is the lamp dimmable?

Dimmer compatibility for integrated LED fittings depends on the specific dimmer type and wiring. Please contact us before pairing the Dusk Dawn with a dimmer so we can confirm suitability.

What size table does it suit?

At 35cm diameter and 50cm tall, the lamp is best suited to console tables, sideboards, larger bedside tables and living room side tables of around 50cm width or wider. It is too large for narrow bedside cabinets under 40cm.

How is the gold glass cleaned?

Wipe the glass shade with a dry, soft microfibre cloth to remove dust. For fingerprints, use a barely-damp cloth with a small amount of glass cleaner sprayed onto the cloth rather than directly onto the shade. Avoid abrasive cloths that could mark the metallic tint.
