Description

The Duna is a 470mm curved wall light with two E27 fittings housed behind flowing opal acrylic diffusers, mounted on a polished chrome backing plate. The asymmetric wave form creates a sculptural profile that projects 80mm from the wall, with the opal acrylic softening the light output into a warm ambient glow rather than direct downlight.

Designed for hallways, living room feature walls and bedroom accent lighting, the Duna works where ambient rather than task illumination is needed. The 470mm width suits wall sections between doorways or above consoles, and the 110mm height keeps the fitting compact enough for standard 2.4m ceiling heights without dominating the wall plane. The twin E27 sockets are pre-wired in parallel, so both lamps illuminate together from a single switch.

The polished chrome finish reflects surrounding light and gives the curved backing plate a mirror-like quality that contrasts with the matt opal diffusers. The acrylic diffuser panels are fastened to the chrome frame with visible fixings, giving a deliberate industrial-meets-contemporary aesthetic. The fitting includes two 2700K warm white CFL bulbs, and is compatible with dimmable E27 LED or halogen bulbs when paired with an appropriate dimmer switch.

Is the Duna dimmable?

The fitting itself is dimmable-compatible when paired with dimmable E27 bulbs and an appropriate dimmer switch. The included CFL bulbs may not be dimmable — check the bulb packaging or replace with dimmable LED bulbs for full dimming functionality.

What wall space does it need?

The 470mm width requires at least 500mm of clear wall width for balanced mounting. The 80mm projection means the fitting stands clear of the wall rather than sitting flush, so avoid mounting it where it would obstruct door swings or narrow corridor traffic.
