Made from oak, MDF and steel, our Duende Desk 130cm brings together three honest materials in one working surface. The oak gives the softly shaped top its warmth and grain, the MDF forms the stable structure beneath, and the steel adds the quiet strength that keeps everything steady through daily use. We finished it in Dark Oak, a deep and grounded shade that settles the eye and pairs readily with a table lamp base or a stack of well-thumbed books. At 130cm wide and 67.1cm deep, it offers room to spread out without dominating the floor around it.

We shaped the top with a gently curved front edge rather than a hard rectangle, which softens how the desk sits in a working space and makes it kinder to lean against. A shallow drawer runs under the front edge, ready to hold pens, cables and the small things that otherwise clutter the surface. Four tapered legs carry the whole piece at a standard working height of 74cm, so a chair tucks neatly beneath and there is space for your knees.
