Description

The Douille is a single pendant light combining a ribbed clear glass bell shade with a polished brass lampholder and black twisted fabric cable. The glass shade measures 100mm diameter with vertical ribbing that refracts light from the E27 bulb fitting inside, while the polished brass lampholder and threaded collar sit above the shade. The black cable runs through a matt black ceiling rose approximately 120mm in diameter.

Designed for kitchens, dining areas, hallways and task lighting positions, the Douille suits installation heights where the pendant can hang 700-900mm above a worktop or 600-800mm above a dining table. The 1000mm cable length is adjustable on installation, giving a minimum drop of 255mm and a maximum drop of 2155mm from ceiling to the base of the shade. The pendant pairs well with vintage-style LED filament bulbs (sold separately) to show the bulb through the clear ribbed glass.

The polished brass lampholder is cast metal rather than plated, giving it weight and durability. The ribbed glass shade diffuses light horizontally while still showing the bulb form, making the choice of bulb visible in the finished installation. The black twisted cable and black ceiling rose contrast with the warm brass tone, giving the pendant a dual-finish look that works in both traditional and industrial-leaning interiors.
