Platinum silver, flat and unbroken, this cover closes off a two gang opening and leaves nothing for the eye to snag on. The screwless plate style means no fixing heads on show: a moulded outer frame sits over the inner section, so the front reads as one clean rectangle with gently squared edges. The colour is a cool pale metallic grey with a soft sheen rather than a mirror shine, which keeps smears and fingermarks far less obvious than a polished face.

We reach for blanks like this during rewires and kitchen refits, where a socket or a television point has been taken out of service but the opening behind it is still there. What does screwless mean here?

The visible outer frame has no screw heads on the front face. You get a smooth, uninterrupted rectangle instead of two fixing points at the top and bottom.

Can it be used in a bathroom or outside?

No. It is rated IP20, which means dry indoor rooms only, so keep it away from shower zones, unheated outbuildings and any exposed position.

How should I clean the silver finish?

Dust it with a dry cloth. For marks, use a cloth barely damp with warm soapy water and dry it off; avoid abrasive creams, scouring pads and solvent-based sprays.
