Description
The Dot is a 93mm recessed downlight with a tiltable GU10 fitting housed in a white powder-coated aluminium bezel. The inner ring tilts to angle the light beam across a room or to highlight a specific surface, wall or object, while the outer bezel remains flush with the ceiling. The fitting accepts any GU10 bulb up to 50W (sold separately), giving flexibility to choose LED, halogen or other GU10 formats depending on lumen output and colour temperature needed.
Designed for residential kitchens, living rooms, hallways and commercial spaces including retail, hospitality and office environments, the Dot provides directed accent or task lighting from a minimal ceiling aperture. The 45mm recess depth fits most standard ceiling voids and the spring clips fix the fitting into a 75-80mm ceiling cut-out without needing a separate can or housing. The white finish blends into white or light-painted ceilings and provides a neutral backdrop for the light source itself.
The aluminium construction dissipates heat efficiently, extending bulb life and maintaining safe operating temperatures even with higher-wattage halogen GU10s. The IP20 rating suits dry indoor environments. The tilt mechanism allows the beam to be angled up to approximately 30 degrees from vertical, useful for grazing textured walls, lighting artwork from an offset position, or directing light across kitchen worktops from a ceiling-mounted position.

Frequently Asked
What size ceiling cut-out is needed?
The Dot requires a 75-80mm diameter ceiling cut-out and a minimum 45mm ceiling void depth above the plasterboard. The spring clips fix the fitting into the aperture without needing a separate housing or can.
Does it come with a GU10 bulb?
No. The fitting accepts any standard GU10 bulb up to 50W (sold separately). Most users pair this with a 5-7W LED GU10 in 3000K or 4000K depending on the room application.
How much tilt does the fitting allow?
The inner ring tilts approximately 30 degrees from vertical, allowing the beam to be angled across a room or towards a wall or object rather than pointing directly downwards.
Is it suitable for bathroom use?
The IP20 rating suits dry indoor environments only. For bathroom zones requiring splash or moisture protection, choose a downlight rated IP44 or IP65.
