Our Domes with Inset Beads 3D wall panels bring a soft, rounded geometric pattern to a plain wall. Each white PVC panel is a 50cm square carrying four round domes in two sizes, set in a two by two grid on a flat background: the large pair sits on one diagonal and the small pair on the other. Every dome has a round hollow set low in its face, with a small bead resting at the bottom, and all four face the same way, so the pattern keeps a calm, even rhythm from panel to panel. The relief is 20mm deep, enough for the domes to read clearly from across a room.

These panels are made for interior walls in homes, offices, hotels and shops. A feature wall behind a bed, a sofa or a reception desk suits the pattern well, as does a hallway or a shop wall where people pass by. The design comes alive as light falls across it: side light from a window or a wall lamp picks out the curve of each dome, fills the hollows with soft shadow and catches the small beads, while flat, even light keeps the look quiet and pale. Because four panels cover one square metre, working out how many a wall needs is arithmetic from its height and width.

Each panel is formed from a 0.8mm PVC sheet. Fitting needs no special equipment: spread adhesive on the back of the panel, press it onto the wall, and cut panels to fit at the edges. Fill the joins with filler and wipe them clean for a continuous surface. Adhesive and filler are sold separately. Once up, the PVC is waterproof and low maintenance, and a wipe with a damp cloth keeps it looking clean. For a balanced finish, plan the layout from the centre of the wall outwards so any cut panels fall evenly at both sides.
