Description

This is a dimmable LED capsule bulb with a G9 two-pin cap: a small clear glass capsule on a white base, 4.9cm long and 1.6cm across. Inside, rows of tiny LED chips sit around a central column. They draw just 3W and give 320lm of warm white light at 3000K. Its IP20 rating settles where it belongs: indoors and dry, in living rooms, bedrooms and hallways rather than a bathroom or the garden.

Because it is so slim, the capsule suits compact wall lights, small pendants and glass shades where a larger bulb would crowd the space or simply not fit. The clear capsule lets the bulb sparkle behind a glass shade and looks neat in a bare-bulb pendant. Its 3000K colour gives the cosy, golden tone most people want for a reading corner or a bedside. Being dimmable, it can be turned down for a quiet evening and brought back to full brightness whenever you need it. A set of them in a multi-arm light gives the same warm tone from arm to arm.
