Diamante II LED Flush Ceiling Light 54W 5000K - White

The Diamante II is a 515mm flush ceiling light with a faceted white plastic diffuser and integrated 54W LED delivering 4000 lumens at 5000K natural white. The surface is moulded into geometric diamond-cut facets that catch and redirect light across the ceiling plane, giving the flat profile a three-dimensional presence when viewed from different angles.

Designed for kitchens, bathrooms, utility rooms and home offices where task visibility and even illumination matter, the 5000K colour temperature provides a crisp, daylight-balanced light that reduces eye strain during detailed work. The 120-degree beam angle distributes light broadly across the room, minimising shadows in corners. At 110mm projection from the ceiling, the Diamante II suits rooms with standard or low ceiling heights where pendant or semi-flush fittings would sit too low.

The opal white diffuser softens the LED source behind it while the faceted outer surface breaks up flat reflections, preventing the glare that smooth acrylic flush fittings can produce. The facets create subtle gradients of light and shadow across the fitting's surface, adding visual interest to what would otherwise be a plain white disc. The 1.17kg weight fixes securely to standard UK ceiling fixings.

Mantra manufactures the Diamante II in Spain. The fitting is rated for 220-240V mains and is not dimmable. The integrated LED has a typical lifespan of 25,000-30,000 hours, equivalent to approximately 8-10 years of daily use at 8 hours per day.

Is the Diamante II suitable for low ceilings?

Yes. The 110mm projection from ceiling to base of fitting makes it appropriate for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.3m or above without creating a sense of enclosure. The flush-mount design maximises headroom.

What room size does 4000 lumens cover?

4000 lumens provides adequate general lighting for rooms up to approximately 20-25 square metres, depending on ceiling height and desired brightness level. For larger kitchens or open-plan spaces, two fittings may be needed.

Can this be used in bathrooms?

The specification table does not list an IP rating, so the Diamante II is suitable for general bathroom use but should be kept outside zones requiring IP44 or higher protection (directly above baths or showers). Confirm zone requirements with your electrician before installation.

Is the LED replaceable?

No. The LED is integrated into the fitting and cannot be replaced. At typical domestic usage of 8 hours per day, the LED should last 8-10 years before noticeable degradation. When the LED reaches end of life, the entire fitting requires replacement.
