Description

This is a steel cable suspension kit for the Deva surface 24V track. It lets you hang a run of that track from the ceiling instead of fixing it flat against the plaster. In the box you get a coil of silver steel cable, silver ceiling and gripper fittings, and a set of small black fittings. The suspension length is 2049mm, just over two metres. The track itself and the track lights are not included. This kit is how you hang them, and both are sold separately.

The kit suits rooms where a track fixed to the ceiling would sit too far from what it lights: a high ceiling, a double-height hall, or an open-plan space where you want the light brought down nearer a dining table, a kitchen island or a desk. Hanging the track also gives it a lighter look, with the run carried on fine cable rather than pressed against the plaster. The maker sets the use at one kit for every 1000mm of track, so plan your kits by the length of track you are hanging, a metre at a time.

The cable is steel with a silver finish, as are the ceiling and gripper fittings, while the smaller fittings are black. The whole kit weighs just 0.08KG, so it is light and easy to handle.
