Description

The Desigual Small is a 1.6m floor lamp built around a geometric matt black frame that forms an open cube structure housing a single frosted white globe shade near the top. The lamp sits on a 250mm square base and uses an E27 socket positioned inside the globe, casting diffused light through the frosted glass in all directions.

Designed for living rooms, bedrooms and reading corners where ambient light is needed without ceiling fittings, the Desigual's vertical frame occupies minimal floor space while its height allows the light source to sit at roughly head height when standing. The open cube construction means the lamp adds architectural form to a room even when switched off, working as a sculptural element in minimalist and contemporary interiors. The matt black finish absorbs rather than reflects light, keeping the focus on the frosted globe.

The frosted white globe provides 360-degree diffusion, softening the light from the E27 bulb inside and reducing glare when viewed from any angle. The lamp accepts any standard E27 LED, halogen or filament bulb up to the wattage specified in the table below (bulb sold separately), and can be dimmed when paired with a dimmable bulb and compatible trailing-edge dimmer. At 5.7kg the lamp has enough weight to remain stable on carpets and hard floors without requiring wall fixing.
