Description

The Desigual Medium is a 240mm table lamp built around a matt black square frame that holds a frosted white opal glass globe at its centre. The frame measures 190mm square in profile, with the globe sitting on a small platform inside the open cage. A single E27 bulb inside the frosted globe casts soft diffused light through the opal glass, while the black frame adds geometric definition and casts secondary shadow lines onto nearby surfaces.

Designed for desks, bedside tables, console tables and low shelving where both task and ambient light is needed, the Desigual sits compact enough to pair with other objects without dominating the surface. The open frame allows the globe to glow from all four sides, making it visible from multiple angles in a room. The matt black finish absorbs rather than reflects surrounding light, keeping the visual focus on the illuminated globe rather than the frame itself.

The lamp accepts any standard E27 bulb up to the wattage specified in the table below (sold separately), and is dimmable when paired with a dimmable bulb and compatible dimmer switch. The frosted white globe diffuses direct glare, making it suitable as a reading light on a desk or as accent lighting on a sideboard. At 1.2kg the lamp has sufficient weight to resist tipping on most stable surfaces. The 100-240V input voltage allows use with international mains where applicable.
