The Dennison is an 800mm tall table lamp built around a ribbed glass urn with a polished nickel base, neck and finial. The glass body sits on a stepped nickel plinth and is capped with a polished nickel lid section, above which the lamp neck supports a cream hardback fabric shade with double trim detail. The lamp takes a single E27 bulb up to 60W (sold separately).

Designed for bedside tables, console tables in hallways, and end tables flanking sofas, the Dennison provides ambient table-level light through the fabric shade while the glass urn remains unlit and decorative. The 432mm diameter shade spreads soft downward and lateral light across nearby surfaces — enough for evening reading when paired with a 6-10W LED bulb in warm white. The stepped square base (approximately 150mm x 150mm) gives stability on narrow console depths without requiring the full 432mm shade diameter in clearance.

The polished nickel finish on the metalwork carries a high-gloss reflective surface that pairs with both warm-toned and cool-toned interiors, while the ribbed glass adds vertical texture to the central column. The cream shade with double trim (a raised band near the top and bottom edges) gives the lamp a tailored appearance that suits traditional, transitional and classic contemporary settings. What bulb does it take?

The Dennison takes a standard E27 (Edison screw) bulb up to 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. For bedside use, a 6-10W LED bulb in 2700K-3000K warm white typically provides enough light for reading without glare.

Is the glass urn lit from inside?

No. The E27 bulb sits inside the fabric shade above the glass urn. The glass urn remains unlit and functions as a decorative column. Only the shade diffuses light.

What surface does the base need?

The stepped square base is approximately 150mm x 150mm, fitting comfortably on bedside tables, narrow console tables and end tables. The shade diameter is 432mm, so the lamp needs approximately 450mm of clearance in each direction when placed.

How is the polished nickel maintained?

Polished nickel develops fingerprints and smudges more readily than brushed finishes. Wipe gently with a dry microfibre cloth. For stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth is acceptable, but avoid polishes or chemical cleaners that can dull the finish over time.
