Description

Demoiselle is a modern rug printed with dragonflies, their slender bodies and finely veined wings drawn in soft grey and white across a mottled blue ground. The colourway is Mineral, a cool, faded blue with a gentle cloudy texture behind the insects, so the design feels calm rather than busy. Full dragonflies run down the centre, with half wings meeting the edges either side, which keeps the pattern moving along the length of the rug. It is made from 100% polyester and the design is digitally printed, giving the wings their fine, almost sketched detail.

In a hallway, the 61 by 230cm runner carries the dragonflies one after another down a narrow passage towards the front door. The 76 by 150cm size suits a spot beside a bed or in front of a fireside chair, while the 120 by 170cm and 152 by 230cm sizes sit comfortably under a coffee table or the front of a sofa in a living room.
