Description

The Davos is a rectangular outdoor LED wall light with a sand white powder-coated aluminium body housing four integrated 4000K LEDs that deliver 2200 lumens of bi-directional light. The fixture projects light both upward and downward through clear acrylic diffusers at the top and base, washing the wall surface with a gradient of cool white light that highlights texture and creates visual interest on plain render or brick.

Designed for contemporary and modern exterior installations, the Davos suits positioning either side of a front door, along a boundary wall, or at regular intervals to light a pathway. The IP54 rating protects against dust ingress and water splashes from any direction, making the fitting suitable for exposed exterior locations including coastal areas where occasional rain-driven spray is expected. The 200mm width and 100mm height suit standard brick coursing and typical doorway proportions.

The sand white finish is a warm off-white rather than a stark pure white, which softens the contrast against typical UK house render and complements cream, stone and light grey exterior colour schemes. The 24W total power draw across the four LEDs is fixed-output and non-dimmable, providing consistent illumination from dusk sensors or timer controls. The fixture weighs 1.1kg and mounts directly to a wall surface using the rear backplate, with the cable entry point on the back face allowing neat concealed wiring.

What does the IP54 rating mean?

IP54 means the fitting is protected against dust ingress and water splashes from any direction. It can be used in exposed outdoor locations including under eaves, on boundary walls, and in areas where rain-driven spray is expected, but it is not designed for full submersion or direct pressure-washing.

Is the LED replaceable?

No. The Davos uses integrated LEDs that are part of the fixture assembly and cannot be replaced by the user. The LEDs are rated for approximately 25,000-30,000 hours of operation, equivalent to around 8-10 years of typical evening use.

Can it be dimmed?

No. The integrated LED driver is fixed-output and does not support dimming. The fixture can be controlled by a timer or photocell sensor to turn on and off, but the brightness cannot be adjusted once lit.

What direction does the light project?

The Davos projects light both upward and downward from diffusers at the top and base of the rectangular body. This creates a vertical wash of light on the wall surface behind the fitting, with a gradient effect that fades as it moves away from the fixture.
