Description
The Davos is a 150mm cube outdoor wall light with integrated LED and a sand white powder-coated finish. Two 10W LEDs inside the cube fire upward and downward through frosted diffusers, casting 1830 lumens of 4000K cool white light in two opposing beams. The IP65 rating protects the internal components from dust and water jets, making the fitting suitable for exposed positions on external walls, under soffits, and in covered outdoor zones.
Designed for building facades, entrance porches, patios and terrace walls, the Davos creates architectural accent lighting where a clean geometric form suits the design language. The bi-directional light output adds dimension to flat walls by grazing the surface above and below the fitting, highlighting texture in render, brick or cladding. The 100mm projection from the wall keeps the fitting compact on narrow passages and doorways. The sand white finish pairs with light-toned facades in cream, off-white and pale grey render.
The cube housing is die-cast aluminium with a powder-coated exterior that resists UV degradation and coastal salt exposure. The integrated LEDs are rated for 25,000 hours of operation and are non-dimmable, running directly on 220-240V mains without external drivers. The 120-degree beam angle from each LED provides wide coverage, with the upward beam typically terminating at eaves or soffit level and the downward beam reaching ground or paving level depending on mounting height.

Frequently Asked
What does IP65 mean for outdoor use?
IP65 indicates the fitting is dust-tight and protected against water jets from any direction. The Davos can be mounted on fully exposed external walls, under soffits, or in covered outdoor areas. It is not submersible but handles rain, hose-down cleaning and coastal spray.
Is the LED replaceable?
No. The LED is integrated into the fitting and rated for approximately 25,000 hours of operation. At typical outdoor usage of 6 hours per evening, this equates to around 11 years before significant lumen depreciation occurs.
What mounting surface does it need?
The Davos mounts onto masonry, brick, rendered walls or timber cladding using the rear mounting plate. A weatherproof outdoor junction box or IP-rated cable entry is required behind the fitting to meet UK electrical regulations for external installations.
Can the light direction be adjusted?
No. The bi-directional beam is fixed, firing directly upward and downward from the cube. Mounting height controls where the beams terminate — typically 1.8-2.2m above ground level positions the downward beam on paving and the upward beam on eaves or soffit level.
